Not about winning.
But about what happens when people begin.
Beautiful Thinking… So Glad You Came To Play!
Every Person Has a Story
Expressability is not simply a board game.
It is a journey into conversation, listening, storytelling, gratitude, understanding, and the discovery of the virtues that connect humanity.
The greatest adventure is discovering what people truly think and feel.
The greatest treasure is understanding.
The greatest magic is connection.
(whispered)
“Some games are played…”
“Others are remembered…”
“And a very few…”
“Remember you.”
“Questions are curious things…”
“They don’t simply reveal answers…”
“Sometimes…”
“They reveal people.”
“Every journey begins with a single step…”
“Every friendship begins with a single conversation…”
“And every great adventure begins…”
“With a question.”
“Every great adventure contains a moment…”
“When curiosity becomes courage.”
“And a single step…”
“Changes everything.”
“Some people think communication begins with talking.”
“The wisest know it begins with listening.”
“Questions are bridges…”
“They carry us from strangers…”
“To understanding.”
“To travel deeper…”
“You must first gather Harmony.”
“Not from victory…”
“But from conversation.”
“The path was never hidden.”
“Only unseen.”
“For some doors…”
“Can only be opened…”
“By understanding.”
“Every person carries treasures…”
“Treasures more valuable than gold.”
“Some call them virtues.”
“Others call them gifts.”
“Expressability calls them discoveries waiting to happen.”
“Harmony is not agreement. It is understanding.”
Expressability is a conversational board game.
But not in the usual sense.
It’s designed to:
Sometimes light.
Sometimes thoughtful.
Sometimes surprising.
Always natural.
At first, it feels like a game.
But very quickly…
something changes.
People begin to:
And the experience becomes something else entirely.
There’s no right way to play.
No pressure to perform.
No need to “get it right.”
Just begin.
Let it unfold.
This may be for you if you:
It also works quietly in:
The 7-sided board remains at the centre.
Simple in form.
But open in possibility.
Each card introduces a shift.
A moment.
A direction.
Nothing complicated.
But enough to change what happens next.
What this becomes…
isn’t something that can be fully explained.
It’s something that happens
when it’s in front of you
and you begin.
There’s no urgency.
You don’t need to decide quickly.
But if something about this feels familiar…
or quietly interesting…
then this may be your moment to step in.
Some things are designed to entertain.
Others…
are designed to open something.
This is the latter.

Expressability: Beautiful Thinking, So Glad You Came To Play!
Dear Game Enthusiast,
I want to tell you about something that may be the most important thing you bring into your home this year.
It’s not another gadget. It’s not another screen that keeps your kids hypnotized for hours. It’s not another toy that gets shoved into the closet after a week.
No. This is something far more powerful.
It’s called Expressability.
And while, on the surface, it looks like a simple board game… the truth is, it’s not.
It’s a tool. A secret key. A magic doorway into something most families have been starving for—real connection.
You see, Expressability is not about who wins or loses. It’s about opening doors to the thoughts, dreams, hopes, and even the untold stories of the people sitting across the table from you.
Romantic couples have used it to ignite conversations that feel brand new. Families have used it to peel back layers of personality they never even knew were there. Friends—yes, even lifelong friends—discover things about each other that surprise them.
Because every card, every question, every roll of the dice is designed with one goal: to bring people closer.
Now, let me be blunt.
The world is noisy. Families are distracted. Couples are disconnected. Kids live on screens. And while we are more “connected” digitally than ever before, real human connection—the kind that matters—is quietly disappearing.
That’s why Expressability exists.
This game turns your living room into a safe, magical space where walls come down. Where laughter erupts. Where tears of joy sneak in. Where hearts soften. Where bonds deepen.
Imagine your family gathered around the table—not staring at screens, not half-listening to each other, but really listening. Imagine your partner opening up about a dream you never knew they had. Imagine your child revealing something that makes you look at them in awe.
That’s what happens when people play Expressability.
It’s not a game night. It’s an adventure.
It’s a canvas for your family to paint their feelings on. A mirror that reflects back who you really are—together. A conversation machine that spins moments into gold.
And here’s the beautiful part: it works for all ages.
Kids love it. Teens engage with it. Parents and grandparents light up playing it. Even that friend who’s “too cool” for games? They’ll crack a smile, open up, and maybe even shock you with what they share.
You can call it fun. You can call it magic. I call it the most valuable board game ever created.
Because what’s more valuable than love? Than understanding? Than connection?
Most games are created to pass the time. This one seems to do something else. Not immediately…
but as people begin to play, something shifts. Conversations open. Thoughts are shared. Moments appear that weren’t planned. Nothing is forced. Nothing is required. It simply creates the space for something to happen. You don’t need to decide anything now. There’s no rush.
But if something about this feels familiar… or quietly interesting… then you’re welcome to take a closer look.
When Expressability is ready, you’ll be able to see it for yourself. No pressure. Just an opportunity to explore it further.

Dear Friend,
Thank you for taking the time to discover Expressability.
Expressability has been many years in the making.
Long before there were illustrations, playing cards, or a game board, there was an idea.
I wanted to create a board game that would bring families, friends, schools, churches, and communities together through meaningful conversation, learning, imagination, laughter, and genuine connection.
To achieve that goal, I spent many months inside my local city library researching hundreds of books covering a wide variety of fascinating subjects.
Every time I discovered an outstanding thought, question, fact, quotation, or idea, I carefully copied it by hand onto an index card.
By the end of this journey, I had written more than 4,000 handwritten index cards.
Then came the most difficult part.
Choosing only the very best.
After countless hours of reviewing, refining, comparing, and selecting, just 455 cards earned their place in Expressability.
Every card was chosen because I believed it had something worthwhile to contribute to the conversations and experiences shared around your table.
Today, I am delighted to tell you that Expressability is complete.
The game has been designed.
The illustrations have been created.
The cards have been written.
The board has been developed.
The box artwork is finished.
Expressability is now ready for its very first production run.
The next step is manufacturing.
I have chosen one of the world’s leading board game manufacturers to produce Expressability to the highest possible standard.
To begin that first print run, I am inviting a limited number of people to become Founding Supporters.
As a thank you, you can reserve your copy today for the special Founder’s Pre-Order Price of US$97.
Once the first print run has been completed, the regular retail price will become US$133.
Every Founder’s Edition will also include a special Founder’s Card placed inside the box as a permanent reminder that you were among the very first people who believed in Expressability and helped bring it into the world.
I also want to be completely transparent.
This is an independently created game.
I’m inviting you to help bring the first edition into the world.
I’ll keep you informed every step of the way.
Because this first production run is being funded through pre-orders, I cannot yet provide an exact delivery date.
Your payment today will help fund the manufacturing of the very first edition, and I promise to keep every supporter updated as production progresses, right through to manufacturing, free shipping, and delivery.
I believe Expressability is far more than a board game.
I believe it is an experience.
An opportunity for families to laugh together.
For children to learn.
For grandparents to share wisdom.
For friends to enjoy meaningful conversations.
For people to discover something new about themselves and one another.
If this vision resonates with you, I would be honoured to have your support.
By reserving your Founder’s Edition today, you will not simply be purchasing a game.
You will be helping bring a dream into reality.
For that, I will remain deeply grateful.
Thank you for believing in Expressability.
Warmest regards,
Marc Ferguson
